All travelers except SAARC(India, Bhutan, Srilanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan ) citizens must get Visa. Visa can be obtained on arrival. We would recommend you to obtain visa before your travel to avoid queues at Immigration counter upon arrival.

If you are planning to get visa on arrival, please make sure you bring your passport size photograph or take at booth available at the airport if you arrive by flight/nearest booth close to local immigration offices if you arrive via land.
Medical and health information
All travelers must be physically fit to travel. Please consult with your doctor before you travel or choose your travel itinerary. It’s your responsibility to ensure your physical abilities to involve fully in tours/treks. Please check for any vaccination that you require before you travel. Please bring first kit with you and also your personal medicines that may not be easily found in all places. Prime Holidays reserves the right to cancel your trip without any refund if you are physically unable to travel. Please make sure you have adequately prepared.
Food and dietary requirements
All travelers who have special dietary requirements must advise us at the time of booking as we arrange and pay services in advance. Travelers who has food allergies should inform us at the same time. You can bring your own quick snacks. We always put our full effort to make sure you have enjoyed local tastes. We ensure you have adequate and delicious cuisines. If you are travelling to remote areas, you won’t have more choices.
Accommodation
We have various range of accommodation options from tented camp to 5* luxury hotels. We can arrange of your choice based on your budget. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any preference. We offer you different options and facilities available in properties before we confirm your accommodation option.
Transport – Land
We use latest vehicle models where possible to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable. We have range of vehicle options in our local sites and we arrange based on your budget and group size. Please let us know your preference in advance as we have more options to choose. As our tour/trek program includes beautiful places, you will enjoy incredible views while drive through the mountains.
You can rent car, motorcycle and bicycle easily. However, if you are travelling in remote areas please check road conditions.
Flights
All destinations are well linked with flights. As we have good market share locally, we have the best flight deals. If you have short holiday plan, taking flight option would help you to cover more places and enjoy your trip in more relaxed pace. Most of the air routes are connected to Kathmandu so you can fly from/to Kathmandu.
We would recommend our client to fly once while you are in Nepal. As you know we have the most beautiful Himalayas including Mt. Everest, you will enjoy incredible Himalayan views while flying in Nepalese sky.
Foreign Currency
Nepalese Rupees (RS) is main currency of Nepal. US dollar (USD) are easily accepted
Most of the hotels do accept US dollar(USD) however we recommend you to exchange and bring Nepalese currency with you all the time. Almost all currencies can easily be exchanged in various money exchange counters located in touristic places like; Thamel in Kathmandu, Lake side in Pokhara, Sauraha in Chitwan and more. We would recommend you to bring little extra than your travel budget for emergencies. Please consult with our consultant if you have any issues relation to currency exchange and we are more than happy to help you anytime.
As most of the places don’t accept debit/credit cards, it’s good to bring cash with you. Taxi, Local grocery shops, shopping centers etc ask for local currency.
Packing
It depends on where and when you are travelling. We would recommend you to travel with light luggage that can be easily handled. We would recommend to check weather forecast of the destinations before your travel and pack suitable cloths. We recommend not to bring unnecessary valuables. Please keep your valuable items always with you.

Phone and Internet Access
Wi-fi are easily available in most of the hotels and restaurants in city areas. Some hotels may charge for the services. Remote properties have very limited access. We recommend you to buy a local sim card with a data package so you have access to the phone and internet all the time. It is easily available in all locations across Nepal. Our local guides help you to find suitable card and data packages.
Climate and season information
Climate in Nepal varies and ranges from tropical to arctic. Nepal has four seasons; Spring(March-May), Summer (Jun-Aug), Autumn (Sep-Nov), Winter(Dec-Feb). Temperatures vary from hot and humid in low land terrain in summer to cold and snow in winter in Himalayan region. Spring and Autumn receive high number of tourist arrival as compare to Summer and Winter. You can travel any time of the year based on your seasonal preference.
Safety

If you are travelling remote areas, please strictly follow our guides. Our guides are first aid trained and certified.
Rules
Nepal has many places where foreigners are not allowed to enter, touch and photograph anything. Specially Temples and Monasteries have very strict on this. Please always either ask guides or read our rules. All travelers must maintain rules abide by local laws. No travelers are allowed for any illegal activities. No drugs are allowed and responsible drinking are expected. No physical or verbal violence are accepted during your tour. If you feel uncomfortable, please let us know as soon as you come across to any issue.
Travel Insurance
All traveler must have personal travel insurance. We always ask traveler to purchase right travel insurance and check your policy covers. Please make sure it covers personal liability, cancellation of of flights, loss of luggage and all personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergencies. It is mandatory for all travelers. No travelers are allowed to travel without travel insurance.
