Please read these Notes and Terms & Conditions carefully before traveling with us.
NOTES
Traveling in remote mountain regions involves inherent risks. While Prime Holidays Travel and Tours always prioritizes guest safety, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may occur, which may result in injury or, in rare cases, death. The company is not liable for any injury, loss, or death resulting from events outside our reasonable control.
Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Reservation Deposit
- A 20% deposit is required at least 20 days before departure.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy (Deposit Only)
- 90 days or more before departure: Full refund of the deposit (bank charges & taxes deducted).
- Between 90–21 days before departure: 50% refund of the deposit (bank charges & taxes deducted).
- Less than 21 days before departure: No refund of the deposit.
- All refunds are processed after deducting applicable bank fees, service charges, and taxes (if any).
3. Payment Charges
- A 4% service charge applies to all credit card payments (charged by the Nepal government, not by our company).
4. Authorized Payments
- Prime Holidays Travel and Tours is a government-registered company in Kathmandu, Nepal.
- Payments must be made only to the company or its authorized agents, and only after receiving an official payment confirmation from us.
- We are not responsible for any unauthorized payments made without confirmation.
5. Final Payment & Date Changes
- Remaining tour fees must be paid at our Kathmandu office before the trip begins.
- Date changes after full payment incur a 10% rescheduling fee.
6. Cancellation After Full Payment
- No refunds are provided for cancellations made after full payment or for early termination of the trip due to personal reasons.
7. Trip Cancellation or Adjustments by the Company
We reserve the right to cancel or adjust the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- flight cancellations
- natural disasters or severe weather
- strikes
- political instability or war
In such cases, refunds will be issued after deducting cancellation and administrative costs. Alternatively, you may reschedule or switch to a different destination, subject to company policies.
8. Domestic Flight Delays
Due to unpredictable weather conditions in mountain regions, delays or cancellations of domestic flights are common.
- We are not liable for these disruptions.
- We will attempt to arrange alternative travel options when possible, though additional costs may apply.
9. Travel Insurance
Guests must obtain comprehensive travel insurance in their home country before arrival.
- Do not purchase travel insurance in Nepal.
- The company is not responsible for any issues related to your insurance coverage.
10. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal valuables at all times.
11. Guide Authority & Group Conduct
- Guests must follow the instructions and guidance of the designated trip leader/guide at all times.
- You must remain with the group and refrain from interfering with trip management or influencing staff decisions.
- If you violate these terms, the company may refuse to continue guiding you, and we cannot guarantee your safety or the completion of the trip.
12. Environmental & Cultural Respect
- Protect and respect local nature, culture, and communities.
- Always ask permission before taking photos of individuals or private property.
- Consult your guide before photographing culturally sensitive locations.
- Hunting is strictly prohibited.
- Drone use is not allowed without legal authorization.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions adhere to the laws and regulations of the Government of Nepal.
