After your first delightful organic breakfast, our guide will pick you up to show you around Kathmandu. In no particular order, your visit will include Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

As soon as you see the stupa of the Swayambhunath, you will see its four sides. Each side has three Buddha eyes representing wisdom, compassion, and cosmic projection according to Buddha’s teachings.

Next, you will head to Pashupatinath Temple, where the cows, sadhus, and cremation rituals create a vibe similar to Banaras, India. This temple displays the Nepalese pagoda art and dates back to the early 17th century. It honors Lord Shiva as the Lord of the Animals.

After that, our guide will take you to Boudhanath Stupa, where you can spin prayer wheels representing the Buddhist cosmos – earth, water, fire, air, and ether.

Then, we will be off to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the former royal palace and medieval area of Kathmandu. The Taleju Bhawani Temple, Hanuman Dhoka, Museum, Kumari Ghar, Makkhan Mahadev Temple, and numerous other statues are the major sights to see, along with the bustling life of the locals.

In Patan, we will see the Krishna Temple, Golden Temple, Sundari Chowk, Ashok Pillars, Mahabuddha Temples, Rudra Varna Mahavihar, and Red Machhindranath Temple.

Then, we will head southeast to Bhaktapur, enveloped by the authentic Newari culture and customs.

In its palace square, we will see a great many treasures such as the Nyatapola Temple, the largest pagoda temple in Nepal, the beautifully crafted 55 Window Palace, the magnificent Golden Gate, and the Vatsala Temple with its Taleju Bell.

There is also a vast Nagpokhari and Pottery Square, where potters will happily share their love for creating art with clay. We will then try the famous King’s Curd, Juju Dhau.

Now, we will be back in the beautiful, chaotic vibe of Kathmandu. In the evening, Prime Holidays will organize a farewell dinner for you at Nepali Chulo to make your Kathmandu luxury tour even more special.

Both companies offer physical SIM cards in various sizes, including nano, micro, and standard. They also provide the option of online purchase of their eSIM Card, which you can activate once you are in Kathmandu.

Any general outlet in Kathmandu will issue you a SIM Card once you present your ID and a photo. As for internet connectivity, nearly all hotels and restaurants in Kathmandu now offer free WiFi with excellent connectivity and speed.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not compulsory for our Kathmandu luxury tour, but we highly encourage you to get one. International travel is often linked with unexpected events such as unseen extended stays, tour delays, cancellations, or serious health issues.

The health service in Kathmandu is excellent, but can be quite costly. Likewise, sometimes, an air ambulance may also be necessary. Therefore, make sure you have the right kind of insurance coverage with active, valid coverage throughout the tour duration.

Your policy should cover the cost for the air ambulance, as well as for tour postponements, cancellations, luggage loss or damage, theft, and extra accommodations.
