Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu & Evening Aarati at Pashupatinath Temple

Your Nepal adventure starts at Tribhuvan International Airport, where you are warmly welcomed by our team with a traditional garland. After the hotel pick-up and a small refreshment break, the evening begins with a deeply spiritual experience by your visit to the Aarati ceremony at Pashupatinath Temple.

Visiting the sacred temple of Pashupatinath, one of the most revered Hindu pilgrimages in Asia and a UNESCO World Heritage site, would be an exciting and inspiring experience. Every evening at 6 pm, the banks of the Bagmati River come alive during the Aarati ceremony. The priests perform Vedic chants, oil lamps light up simultaneously, bells produce nonstop sound, and the incense spreads throughout the space. The place has both strong and tranquil energy.

The group will spend the night in Kathmandu.

Your Kathmandu sightseeing begins after you finish breakfast.

Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)

The 2,500-year-old Buddhist stupa stands on a hilltop west of the city, which provides panoramic views across the Kathmandu Valley. According to local tradition, the valley used to be a lake which became the holy site where the lotus was discovered. The white dome and golden spire, adorned with the all-seeing eyes of Buddha, create one of Nepal’s most iconic images.

The site combines Hindu and Buddhist traditions, which is representative of the combined spirituality in the nation.

Kathmandu Durbar Square

Next, step into the historic royal courtyard of the Malla kings. The UNESCO World Heritage square contains ornate temples and palace courtyards and ancient shrines which were constructed between the 12th and 18th centuries. The wooden architecture and stone carvings showcase Nepal’s extraordinary craftsmanship.

The midday meal brings a break to our schedule which allows us to explore Thamel, a lively tourist area that offers handicrafts, pashmina shops, singing bowls and trekking equipment.

Evenings are reserved for a traditional Nepali dinner served with live folk music and dance performances.

Traveling west toward Bandipur, taking a first stop at the Manakamana Temple – a sacred hilltop shrine, located in Gorkha district. The temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati fulfills the deep-seated wishes of its visitors. The cable car ride attracts numerous travelers who seek to experience the breathtaking views of the valley.

Have lunch, then come to Bandipur in the later part of the day.

Bandipur, a hilltop village that sits at an altitude of 1,005 m, is like a living, breathing museum. Bandipur which used to be a major trade route between India and Tibet has maintained its original Newari architectural style together with its brick buildings and wooden window design and its quiet streets made of stone.

From this location, visitors on sunny days can view Himalayan mountain peaks that include Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Langtang. The town is also known for Siddha Gufa cave and warm local hospitality, making it a highlight of any Bandipur village tour.

The group will head to Pokhara after breakfast through a 2 to 3 hour drive which leads to Nepal’s beautiful lakeside city.  The group will arrive at their destination and check into their hotel before going to a nearby school and monastery which shows them how local people live their everyday lives.

The evening begins with a relaxing boat ride which lasts for one hour on Phewa Lake. The sunset creates a perfect postcard scene because Mount Machhapuchhre reflects its image in the water.

The group will have dinner and stay overnight in Pokhara.

An early start takes you to Sarangkot which people know as a location that provides complete Himalayan mountain views. At sunrise the Annapurna range glows golden with Machhapuchhre (or Fishtail), Dhaulagiri and other Western Himalayan peaks stretching across the horizon.

This moment stands as the most memorable experience in any Pokhara travel guide.

After Breakfast:

  • Hike to the World Peace Pagoda which provides breathtaking lake vistas
  • The city offers lunch options which we will enjoy
  • Spend the afternoon cycling around lakeside villages and countryside trails

The city of Pokhara offers visitors both adventurous activities and peaceful relaxation options.

This morning’s sightseeing tour will include various natural and cultural heritage sites. The first stop will be Devi’s Falls, a waterfall that drops into an underground tunnel.

  • Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave serves as a holy cave which people use to worship Lord Shiva.
  • Mahendra Cave functions as a limestone cave which contains outstanding natural rock formations.
  • International Mountain Museum displays the history of mountaineering together with the cultural heritage of the Himalayan region.
  • Seti River Gorge creates a narrow gorge which contains milky glacial waters that flow through its depths beyond the street height.

The group will start their journey to Australian Camp after finishing lunch. They drive to Kande and start walking uphill through the gentle terrain. This short trek is perfect for beginners because it provides amazing mountain views without requiring high altitude climbing. The peaceful mountain setting makes it one of the best short trekking experiences in Nepal.

Dinner and overnight at the camp.

The team will wake up early to watch the Himalayan sunrise. The team will then walk back to Kande after they finish breakfast and travel to Chitwan which lies in southern Nepal.

You will stay at a jungle lodge near Chitwan National Park, which is Nepal’s first national park and has been a UNESCO World Heritage site.

In the evening, enjoy a delightful cultural program where local Tharu communities perform traditional dance and music.

Today is dedicated to wildlife exploration in Chitwan National Park. The park offers visitors several activities, including:

  • People can watch elephants as they travel through thick grassland areas
  • People can experience a canoe ride on the Rapti River.
  • The guided jungle walk leads visitors through the forested area.
  • The bird watching activity takes place with expert naturalists who guide participants through the experience.

Chitwan National Park serves as a habitat for the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, gharial crocodile and over 500 species of birds. The Chitwan jungle safari provides a thrilling experience which is different from the mountain scenery that travelers saw earlier during their trip.

The group will spend the night at the jungle lodge.

After breakfast, the driver will take us back to Kathmandu through the scenic river valleys which show the terraced hills and the rural towns. The journey itself reveals Nepal’s diverse geographical features which represent the country’s rural lifestyle.

You check into your hotel after you arrive and you spend your evening at the hotel in leisure.

The group will visit Patan Durbar Square which is located in Lalitpur before their departure. Patan known as the city of fine arts showcases its temples and courtyards together with its metal craftsmanship work. The majority of its historic buildings originate from the period between the 16th century and the 18th century.

After lunch, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your further journey.
