6 AM: Pick up and drive to TIA, followed by boarding the Heli, 1 hour
At around 6 AM, our guide will be at your hotel lounge in a private vehicle to take you to TIA. We will then go through the necessary formalities and verify our papers.
After around 30 minutes, we will get our boarding passes. Then, we will move towards the TIA waiting lounge and wait for the weather update.
Once cleared, we will proceed towards the Helipad, where we will see our pilot. After greeting us, he will provide us with the overall safety guidance, such as fastening seat belts, heli door operation, headphone usage, etc.
7 AM: A heli ride to Lukla, 2860 m, 45 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of refueling
At around 7 AM, our helicopter will take off from TIA and fly east. Within ten minutes, we will begin to see the intense, edgy features of Langtang, Kanchenjunga, Ganesh, Manaslu, and Dorje Lhakpa.
Soon enough, we will be traversing the magnificent landscape of the 3550 m tall Lamjura Pass. Devour the breathtaking sights of Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse.
Now, we fly north and after a few thrilling moments, our expert pilot will be carefully landing us along the 527 m short mountain runway of the Tenzing Hilary Airport at Lukla.
As our heli stops to refuel, we can explore the magical landscape and scenery of this Sherpa town.
8 AM: A heli ride to Pheriche, 4200 m (Landing may be optional)
With our captain’s lively commentary, we will fly over the vast greenery beside Dudh Koshi. Below us, we will be able to see the blue homes of Namche, Phortse, and the stunning monasteries of Tengboche and Pangboche.
As we head towards Pheriche, the gigantic peaks of Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Everest, and Lhotse will come into sight.
Please note that if you have reserved the private Everest Base Camp helicopter tour, then you won’t need to land at Pheriche.
Only on the shared trip, five passengers will split into two groups to help balance the weight of the helicopter, especially above 4000 m. One group will stay at Pheriche while the other continues the journey.
8:30 AM: Heli ride over Everest Base Camp, 5364 m, and Kala Patthar, 5644 m
As we go on with our Everest Base Camp helicopter tour, we will soon see the immense pile of prayer flags dancing in the high Himalayan air of the Dughla Pass (4830 m).
Then, the 5420 m tall Cho La Pass will bestow us its splendid sight, and adjacent to it, we can also see the magnificent pointy tips of Lobuche, Pumori, and the Khumbu Glacier.
The desert village of Gorakshep will also come into our view, and near its glacial land lies the Everest Base Camp. In the right season of Nepali spring, we can see the lively multicolored tents dotting its icy white landscape.

8:50 AM: Resume Heli ride and land at Everest View Hotel for breakfast, 3880 m, 1 hour
Our Everest Base Camp helicopter tour will now continue onto the tallest luxury hotel of the planet, the Everest View, lying beautifully over the hill of Syangboche.
Guinness World Records recognized this Japanese-built hotel as the highest one in 2004.
But, this astounding location is known more for its excellent, admirable panorama of all the Khumbu icy giants, such as Thamserku, Taboche, Lhotse, Cholatse, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and several others. Enjoy a full hour of dining and drinking at its terrace.

9:55 AM: Return to Kathmandu via Lukla
Our heli will be back right on time to lift us into the sky towards Kathmandu with an optional refueling stop at Lukla.
10:55 AM: Land at TIA and Hotel Transfer
We will arrive safely at TIA, where Prime Holidays’ private pick-up vehicle will be ready to take us back to our hotel. You will also receive a certificate for the successful completion of the Everest Base Camp helicopter tour.
